But since no one else was freaking out, literally no one. I just stood there in a frozen panic. My first instinct was to run...the second was to get out of the way of potential fallen objects. Everyone else? Who knows. They didn't care.
Alexandra and I were drawing and we felt the floor move a bit. We both looked at this girl who was walking to the bathroom behind us, and assumed it was her...although we were skeptical of her small stature and her ability to actually shake the floor with her weight...but then we turn around and the floor literally felt like ocean waves or a waterbed. It was crazy. You could literally see the floor making wave patterns. I kept looking at my teacher who was right next to me like, "Dude, tell us to do something, like where to go, ANYTHING." Nada. He just kind of enjoyed the ride...and he did too, with a smile on his face. Afterwards he compared it to the Merengue and Cumbia...
I was pretty excited though because due to the earthquake and the storm that's about to hit my dance class was cancelled!! The rain, thunder, and lightning have begun but I have no idea how bad it's supposed to get. In celebration of class being cancelled, and because I was just hungry...I went to this little smoothie/drink place called Cosechas. I got a small smoothie made with just avocado, mango, and banana! It was delicious! So fresh. I love smoothies.
My friend Oscar gave me this!! It's a book of tongue twisters in Spanish! Trabalenguas= Tongue Twister! It's so cool.
I finally got some of my letters!!!! Thank you guys SO much for sending them. My friend Molly sent me the one with the picture of the boyscout leader from Moonrise Kingdom! We both love it. The others are from Anita and Caleb. Thank you again!
The chair that I drew haha. It's the one on the far left, sitting by itself. I'm getting better...but my teacher tells me I need to work on some things....I'll get there one day. Maybe.
