My dance class has been interesting these past few weeks too. Last week one of the students danced around in his navy briefs the entire class period. White cut-off shirt, navy briefs....apparently is all you need for dance class. The ticos in my class are really open people to say the least; it makes things entertaining. We've been rehearsing this dance that encompasses all of the main folkloric dances of Costa Rica. Today they changed the choreography and I'm now carried off the stage by a short tico guy. He's like half my size...I feel kind of bad. Anyways, the last time we meet for class in November is actually for our presentation of this choreographed dance. It should be pretty entertaining. I'm just trying to blend in, but that is so much harder than it sounds.
Speaking of November, the Costa Rican mail system is a little unpredictable. As much as it kills me to say this, people probably shouldn't send me mail past November 1. It doesn't usually take a full month for me to get mail from people, but I would hate to have an unread letter sitting in Costa Rica for me while I'm back in the states. So, keep sending me love until November 1. =) Gracias!!
