Los Amores de mi vida =)
Hey everyone! I'm posting again to tell you about my insane day yesterday. Saturday was a big mixture of madness. Everything started out awful as soon as we got to the airport because we get to the Delta flight area and they literally almost send me home. There was a big mess with travel visas. Meanwhile the mess is taking so long that I have to run/walk to security and in 5 seconds say goodbye to everyone. Once I get through security things got a lot better. I found my gate and met a really cool person from Venezuela. We talked for along time and she helped calm me down and was super nice. She had a lot of funny things to tell me. We were talking so long that we eventually wondered why we hadn't borded out plane yet and then after asking someone we found out that the flight had been changed to a different gate due to mechanical problems. So now were running. We made it, barely, but I made a new friend and she added me on Facebook so it was worth it! A man threw up behind me on the plane and a lady strutted down the plane aisle with super high heels on wearing a long piece of toilet paper on her shoe. So fashionable. I'm glad I had something to laugh at though. Once I landed in Atlanta the rest was pretty easy. They served me this semi-good looking meal on the plane I was kind of surprise. I'll post a picture later. I landed in San Jose and met my host family who are great. Speaking in Spanish is not my forte...not yet anyways so it was kind of hard at first but they worked with me so well and were extremely patient. I have my own room and everything is going well!
That's all,
With Love,
Sara
P.S Thank you Caleb for warning me about not flushing toilet paper. My host mom told me in Spanish about it and I didn't have to ask her Que? or Repitan por favor? I already knew what to expect!
